About Me

“A photo is a window to a memory”

My love of photography started as a child. My mother cherished photos and made sure to photographically document our family’s life – extensively. I think my mom’s motto is: “If there isn’t a photo, it didn’t happen.”

Because of this dedication, I can look through the countless photo albums and see the story of my life unfold in beautiful photos taken throughout the years.

I fell in love with the art of photography after taking my first photography class in college. Creatively capturing beauty on film has always been a natural part of life for me. Then, when I became a mother, photography became a true source of joy as I captured memories of my own children. As they grow up, those photos become more and more precious – little windows that lead to memories of what they were like as babies, toddlers, and young children. Those photos are the springboard to their story, a catalyst that takes me back to sweet memories of early parenthood.

I would love the opportunity to share my creativity and joy in capturing your story.

The person behind the camera?

Hi, my name is Christina, I am a registered dietitian that has always had a passion for being creative. For years I had a dream of turning my photography hobby into a career and in 2016, I officially launched Paoletti Photography.

I now get to meet amazing families, work with the sweetest newborns and play with children—this is my job! Clients turn into friends and I get to watch their little babies grow up into giggly toddlers and I get the honor of being there to capture milestones, smiles and memories. I get to work with seniors, hear their dreams for the future while we creatively capture their unique personalities – this is my job. When I’m behind the camera, I’m in my happy place.

I am also a mother of two amazing teenage children, they constantly challenge me to be a better version of myself. They also remind me how quickly children grow up and how important it is to take lots of photos along the way.

I have the blessing of being married to my soulmate Michael for the past 20 years. When I was in college I told a friend that the man that I would marry would need to be an artist so that we could share in the joy of being creative together. In my first conversation with Michael I found out that he was studying graphic design and that he loved photography, I immediately asked him if he wanted to join a group of us that were going disco-rollerskating that weekend. He said “yes” and a friendship turned into courtship and in just over a year later we were married. Yes, I did indeed marry an artist and we love to be creative together—He even joins me on photo shoots.

I love being a mom, eating healthy, being active and exploring the beauty of nature – especially hiking. I love cooking, mystery novels, espresso martinis, homemade pie, and romantic comedies.

I also love espresso & dark chocolate.

My Family.

I have been blessed with a beautiful family that shares my love for all things creative. I am thankful for the joy they bring to my life. Parenthood is an amazing journey, make as many memories as you can along the way. They really do grow up way too fast!
